Half Life: Seeing it from Human perspective
Celebrating your birthdays in your 30s with another perspective
I celebrated my birthday yesterday, it was the 35th birthday.
I was reminded of the half-life of the radioactive substances. In the context of humans, we have terms similar to this with negative emotions - mid-life crisis.
Considering the average age of Indian to be around 70, it is good to consider 35 years as the mid life in India. I take it positively yet cautiously, reminding myself the following -
The time is limited, these years going by are the reminder of the same.
The other half life is also and opportunity, considering on an average we spend 25 years in education and first job and the next 5 years in getting married and settling down. So, the other half-life is an opportunity where-in you own things, you are the hero, you shine or you just waste the years, you live life by your own terms or you continue living life unconsciously.
I hope everyone reading this take the next half life as the opportunity to thrive.
